To invoke javascript, I've downloaded and studied the example at the following url:

It works, but I haven't been able to make it work in my own applications. No errors. InvokeMethod just quietly executes, but nothing happens. I also tried running "RegisterSelf" and "InvokeMethodWithId".

QUESTIONS:

1. Are there any sample projects which demonstrate javascript invocations within an asp.net application (which uses a "vwg:FormBox")?

2.All the examples show a c# component class, and a class.js file by the same name. Is this naming convention required to allow InvokeMethod?

3. If the javascript functions must be stored in a file with a specific name, how would that apply in an asp.net application? Would the javascript file need to be in the same location as the formcontrol.dll file, or in the directory of the asp.net page which is using the formcontrol?

I'm using version 6.1. Thanks in advance, and if I can provide more detail please let me know.

Right. Seems to work fine in WGX applications, but doesn't seem to work if the application is embedded in an asp.net application. Hopefully I'm wrong though.

Hello,

I sent you an e-mail with a sample application, demonstrating how do use client invocation from a VWG application that is displayed inside a FormBox in an APS.NET page.
