Hi there
We have had users asking us about if our Habanero framework has support for the Mono framework.
We are busy investigating this at the moment interms of our own libraries, but because we use VWG as one of our presentation layer implementations, we are wondering what VWG's current and future support for the Mono framework is going to be.

Welcome to Visual WebGui.
Yes we support our framework to run over Mono. And we plan to keep it in the future as well.

Which versions support the mono framework? Are there special versions to download for this, or does it automatically support it without recompiling?
On the some of your site's pages it says the following:
"Visual WebGui's roadmap includes…
Mono deployment - Allowing your Visual WebGui application to run on non Microsoft servers (Visual WebGui for .NET 1.1 is already compatible with mono)."
Now, for your latest version of VWG on the downloads page it says:
".NET 1.1 is not supported from version 6.2.0."
Am I missing something? Does the .NET 2 version support mono as well?

Hello Mark ,
We support mono framework in all our versions including 6.2.0 ,Do you have any
problem or cant make it work in that version ?

Izi,
I do also have issues to run VWG on mono. I use recent stable mono release 2.0.1 and VGW 3.5 SDK v6.1.4. When I create an empty VGW 3.5 project and drop few standard controls on the form, then run XPS 2.0 web server against it, I get this error message:
