Re: 6.2.1 problem

Hi! I had the same problem. It occurs, when an older version of webgui is installed before the 6.2.1 is installed. There are temporary older files which makes the problem.

I have deleted all with:

c:\windows: del gzimox.* /s

after that cleaning, everything worked ok.

This is the solution. It's strongly recommended.

Re: 6.2.1 problem

Hello

First of all I am using version 6.2.1 .NET 3.5.
I uninstalled again. I also when thro the Vista registry and deleted all references to Gizmox as well.
I checked the entire computer for any of the Gizmox assemblies and references and deleted every one of them
I then installed 6.2.1 again.

The WebGUIApplication1 now works :-)

But the problem now is....

When I convert the application to now run under IIS (Vista Ultimate IIS7)
So in properties I selected "Use IIS Web server"
Project Url = http://localhost/WebGUIApplication1

When I run this I now get this error, which comes up in a window with a title "Microsoft Visual Studio" I cannot copy then paste the information in the window, so I will type some of what I think are the important error lines

IIS7.0 Detailed Error - 500.23 - Internal Server Error

An ASP.NET setting has been detected that does not apply in Integrated managed pipeline mode

Note: In IIS 7 I have set Handler Mappings as follows...

Request path = *.wgx
Executable = c:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\aspnet_isapi.dll
Name = VisualWebGui

When I click on the Request Restrictions button...
Mapping tab Invoke handler only if request is mapped to (this is checked)
File is selected
Folder is not selected
File or folder is not selected

I then Publish the web site from Vis Studio 2008 to a virual folder, when i run the URL I get the error below in IE7

HTTP Error 500.23 - Internal Server Error

Hi!

Start by clearing the File check and see what that does!
