The company has been planning its first product for a number of years which draws upon the company's knowledge of Paratransit operation and software and will include systems to support various Paratransit activities:

Business needs
Brian Rizzo Consulting was looking to leverage knowledge and skills of its development team to create a more uniform solution that would be offered to current and potential clients in the paratransit market. The company decided to develop the new solution from the ground up using C# and wanted to provide users with a desktop look-n-feel which would be accessible in a web browser.
In addition to desktop look-n-feel, the application had to include some more of the desktop environment advantages and be responsive, secure and easy to deploy. Since the company had a limited budget and resources it wanted to leverage its existing skills, so it was also essential to build the solution in a familiar development environment that would have a very small or no learning curve.
The Solution
The team at Brian Rizzo Consulting evaluated a number of paid and free frameworks for this project. They even considered using a product they are using for one of their clients that will auto generate and entire ASP.NET website from their database. None of the solutions evaluated could easily produce that Windows look-n-feel they were looking for. In the end they determined that the amount of work required to create and maintain the application using other frameworks was too excessive and would only increase code complexity and time to market.
Hence, Brian Rizzo sought for a solution that would allow them to fulfill all of the requirements for the project and once they found Visual WebGui (VWG) they immediately recognized that it fits their needs just like a glove. "From the first moment the development process appeared to be moving along very rapidly and smoothly." said CEO & Founder Brian Rizzo.
"Visual WebGui provides us with an out-of-the-box Windows look-n-feel and a development add-on integrated into Visual Studio that feels like it should have been a part of Visual Studio to begin with," said Rizzo whose company found Visual WebGui very effective in providing also end-users with an overall desktop equivalent experience and as a result saving huge amount of resources and time that would have been required otherwise.
Benefits
Using Visual WebGui for their Paratransit solution allowed Brain Rizzo Consulting to complete their project while implementing all the original requirements, in less time than that was expected. Visual WebGui presented the development team with an environment that is similar to a desktop's in terms of the practices and rapid development process as well as the actual outcome. This means that due to the combination of the VWG design time and runtime, Brian Rizzo is able to offer a more complete solution with desktop equivalent experience.
In addition to the development benefits, Visual WebGui's unique architecture means that deployment and maintenance are as simple too. The award winning pipeline also provides Brian Rizzo's Paratransit solution with a desktop-grade performance and responsiveness and by-design unsurpassed Web security that literally cannot be hacked.
"The desktop feel has allowed us to focus more on business logic and less on web design which led to significant savings in resources and time to market ," Brian Rizzo and concluded that "coupled with relatively low cost of entry and licensing fees, Visual WebGui has no rivals for what we do."
