• RemitAnywhere Branch Pro: Branch Pro is designed to automate the workflows of the sending-side or remitting branch network. The sending-side or remitting branch network can span business operations in multiple cities, states/provinces and countries.
• RemitAnywhere Agent Pro: Agent Pro is designed to automate the workflows of the sending-side or remitting agent network. The sending-side or remitting agent network can span business operations in multiple cities, states/provinces and countries.
• RemitAnywhere Payee Pro: Payee Pro is designed to automate the transaction and messaging level communication workflows between the sending-side (remitting) and receiving-side (payee) branch/agent network.
• RemitAnywhere eCustomer Pro: eCustomer Pro is designed to enable money transfer businesses to start accepting remittance transactions on their own website. Tremendous revenues can be generated from customers living out of the vicinity of the branch and agent locations.

Business needs
RemitAnywhere looked to port Desktop Pro module from its previous desktop platform to web technology. The company needed to develop a system that was Web based and could integrate with Mobile Devices for improved accessibility and mobility.

In addition, the updated web based system had to remain fast and responsive even when accessed via mobile devices and at the same time provide the complete functionality of the previous desktop system and offer the required functionalities for money transfer management such as updating customer/beneficiary information and creating new transactions.

It was also important that the system used a web technology that could offer users easy interface and upgradeability options and that the platform allowed leveraging the team’s existing .NET skills since there was no desire to spend time and resources on learning new languages and methodologies.

The Solution
The team looked for a platform that would answer those requirements in their suite of products which involved creating a Web Application. The team decided to evaluate Visual WebGui as the platform for this project. After running some internal tests Visual WebGui proved to hold the features and capabilities that RemitAnywhere was looking for. The team was impressed, in particular, with the productivity, good compatibility with web technology and easy porting of the familiar .NET experience that the Visual WebGui platform presented.
