Challenge Instructions and Terms
- Developers must register via the form on the top left corner of this page with all the required details for the challenge in order to participate in the challenge and/or the raffle.
- Prizes will be only given to and associated with the details provided upon registration.
- Participants must achieve the exact Visual WebGui "Webmail" web UI and functionality (including design aspects such as formatting, colors, etc.)
- The result should be a web application compiled with less than 11,300 lines of code.
- The maximum length of a line of code will not exceed 300 characters which is the longest line of code within the ‘Webmail’ project’s code.
- Writing a few separate commands on the same line is prohibited (in C# for example, command lines are separated by semi-colon ‘;’).
- Provide a URL from which the framework that you used was downloaded or purchased.
- In case you do not use an existing framework, the code of the framework that you use is also counted, in addition to the code for the application itself.
- In case there are more than one qualified winning codes, only the first one to be submitted to code.challenge@visualwebgui.com following the above rules wins the challenge.
- Gizmox will be the sole judge as to whether your code stands up to the above rules.
However, if Gizmox decides that your code does not meet the above rules, you will be entitled to receive a written reasoning upon request.
- Gizmox holds the right to terminate the challenge at any time
- Gizmox will announce the results of the competition during 2010, and holds the right to publish the winner's name and his submitted code.
